To permanently destroy this equipment we need to do the following:
- Remove the data units out of racks, cases or operating devices
- Physical destruction by drilling, pulverization or crushing
- Removal from the site either pre- or post-destruction
- Disposal of destroyed data devices
Disposal of destroyed data devices needs to be done professionally according to international ISO 14001 standards. We use the following two accepted methods:
- Scrap metal disposal only to ISO 14001 accredited scrap merchants
- Land fill disposal only to ISO 14001 accredited contractors
